It is a new year. I’m calling it the year of consolidation. Time to connect all the dots and refresh. I will chronicle here.
My professional life does not intersect with my personal life automatically. In my professional life, I operate on a national stage with the intention of having a positive influence on the lives of many learners in many places, mostly urban centers like New York City, Baltimore, Miami, Los Angeles, Seattle, Reno, and Oklahoma City.
I live in the inner East Bay part of the San Francisco Bay Area, which includes several cities like Fremont, Hayward, Oakland, Berkeley, Albany, and Richmond. My work for NAF is intended to improve learning outcomes here too. But it is not in my job description to work with or in specific schools or other organizations where I live, to actually be the change I want to see.
That is up to me and how the professional is about to get personal for me, in the inner East Bay.
W3Workshop is about to undergo a major transformation. From lots of generalizations and few specifics to lots of specifics and few generalizations. Well, fewer generalizations, and none that are not coupled with specifics.
Please join in when it serves your purposes.
